What it is
Adobe's entry photography subscription: Lightroom Classic (desktop catalog), Lightroom (cloud-first), Photoshop, and 20GB of storage. A 1TB tier is available for $19.99/month.
Who it's for
Almost everyone shooting RAW. This is the default photography software stack for good reason.
What we liked
- Lightroom Classic is still the most complete RAW workflow
- Photoshop is unmatched for composites and retouching
- Generative Fill, Denoise, and AI masking are now first-class
What we didn't
- 20GB is too little if you use cloud Lightroom seriously — plan on the 1TB tier
- Subscription-only; no perpetual license
Verdict
The default. If you're shopping editors and have no specific reason to avoid Adobe, start here.
What we love
- ✓Industry-standard tools
- ✓Best AI masking and Denoise
- ✓Unbeatable value for the bundle
Where it falls short
- –Subscription-only
- –20GB cloud tier fills fast
